Privacy Policy

AR Studio ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at ar-studio.io and any experiences published on our *.ar-studio.io subdomains.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Data: Your name, email address, chosen subdomain, and the billing details you provide when you subscribe to a plan. Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle (see Section 5).
• Team Data: On the Creator and Pro Studio plans you can invite team members. We store the email addresses and roles of the members you invite so they can access your account.
• Project Data: 3D model files (.glb, .usdz), compiled image targets (.mind), preview images, project names, viewer customization settings (branding, header text, info message, button colors, and any password you set), and your custom subdomain and portfolio content.
• Viewer Analytics: When people view your AR experiences, we collect anonymous data including device type, browser, operating system, screen resolution, language, referrer / traffic source, approximate location (country/city via IP geolocation), session duration, unique-visitor and return signals, AR activation events, and hourly timestamps.
• Profile Data: Your subscription plan, plan-based avatar assignment, project and team usage, and scan/view consumption statistics displayed on your Profile page.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain our services, process subscription payments through Paddle, host and deliver your AR experiences on your subdomain via our CDN, manage your team members' access, populate your analytics dashboard and Profile page, enable PDF export of analytics reports, send transactional emails, and improve our platform.

3. Analytics Data

When someone views any AR experience created on our platform — whether Surface AR, Wall AR, Image Tracking, Multi-Image, or Product Showcase — we collect anonymous analytics data as described above. This data is stored securely in our database and is only accessible to the project owner (and their invited team members) through the Analytics tab on the Profile page. We do not use advertising networks or any third-party behavioural-tracking tools.

4. AR Viewer Features

Our Image Tracking AR viewer includes a capture button that lets end-users take screenshots (JPEG) and record videos (MP4, where supported) of the AR experience. These files are saved locally to the user's device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

5. Payments & Merchant of Record

Our payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for all purchases. When you subscribe, Paddle collects and processes your payment information — and, where required, your billing address and tax details — in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details on our servers. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time using the "Manage Subscription" link in the Paddle receipt email sent to you at checkout. Paddle's handling of your data is governed by Paddle's own privacy policy.

6. Data Storage

Your project data and analytics are held in our secure cloud database, your 3D assets in secure cloud storage, and your experiences are delivered through a global content delivery network (CDN) for fast worldwide access. Billing data is held by Paddle. All data transfers are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the platform — including Paddle (payments and merchant of record), our cloud hosting and database provider, our content delivery network, and our abuse-prevention provider — or where required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time. You can manage your projects, team, and profile through the Dashboard and Profile pages, and manage or cancel your subscription via the "Manage Subscription" link in your Paddle receipt email. 9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use authentication tokens stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. Paddle may set cookies during the checkout process, and our abuse-prevention provider may set cookies to protect against automated activity. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party behavioural-tracking cookies, or any cross-site tracking mechanisms.

10. Security

We protect our platform with bot-protection and abuse-prevention safeguards, and we enforce access rules so that project and analytics data is only reachable by its owner and their invited team. Despite these safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

AR Studio is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or through a notice on our platform.

Terms & Conditions

By accessing and using AR Studio (ar-studio.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. On the Creator and Pro Studio plans you may invite team members to your account; you remain responsible for their activity and for ensuring they comply with these Terms.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

AR Studio offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or yearly. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time using the "Manage Subscription" link in your Paddle receipt email; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

3. Plans, Features & Limits

Each plan includes specific features and limits. A summary of the current plans:

• Lite ($7/mo or $63/yr): Surface AR only, 10 projects, 1,000 scans/month, 250 MB storage, custom subdomain, basic analytics, viewer-data export, and email support.
• Creator ($25/mo or $225/yr): all live AR types, 40 projects, 10,000 scans/month, 1 GB storage, custom branding (hide AR Studio branding), password protection, custom subdomain and portfolio, detailed analytics, up to 5 team members, and priority support.
• Pro Studio ($125/mo or $1,125/yr): everything in Creator, plus early access to new AR types, 250 projects, 100,000 scans/month, 5 GB storage, and up to 25 team members.
• Enterprise: custom project, scan, storage, and seat limits, a dedicated subdomain and private dashboard, priority support, and optional done-for-you AR builds. Enterprise engagements may be governed by a separate written agreement.

The AR types available today are Surface AR, Wall AR, Image Tracking, Multi-Image AR, and Product Showcase. Additional types (such as Face Filter, Portal AR, Hand Track, T-Shirt Print, and Cross AR) are marked "Coming Soon" in the designer and may change or be withdrawn before release. AR types other than Surface AR require the Creator plan or above. Current plans, prices, and limits are always listed on our Pricing page, which controls if it differs from this summary. If you exceed your plan's scan or project limits, some features may be restricted until you upgrade or the next billing cycle begins.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all 3D models, target images, preview images, and other assets you upload to AR Studio. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, serve, cache (via CDN), and display your content — including on your custom subdomain and portfolio — for the purpose of delivering AR experiences to your end users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes on intellectual property rights. You must not use the platform to distribute malware, conduct phishing, or create deceptive AR experiences. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activities without notice.

6. Password-Protected Experiences

On the Creator plan and above you can password-protect an experience. You are responsible for managing and distributing those passwords. Password protection restricts casual access but is not a guarantee of security for highly sensitive material.

7. End-User Generated Content

The Image Tracking AR viewer allows end-users to capture screenshots and record videos of AR experiences. You acknowledge that end-users may share these captures publicly. AR Studio is not responsible for how end-users distribute or use captures of your AR content.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance that could temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions, CDN outages, or third-party service failures.

9. Analytics & Data Export

Analytics data collected from your AR experiences is accessible through your Profile page, and you may export analytics reports as PDF files. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. We do not guarantee the accuracy of IP-based geolocation data.

Please refer to our dedicated Refund Policy for full details. Because AR Studio is a digital service, subscription payments are generally non-refundable.

11. Limitation of Liability

AR Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your uploaded content may be deleted after a 30-day grace period. You may cancel billing yourself at any time via the "Manage Subscription" link in your Paddle receipt email, or close your account entirely by contacting team.arstudio.io@gmail.com.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Delhi, India.

Refund Policy

At AR Studio, we offer digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products. Because our platform provides immediate access to digital resources, cloud hosting, and software tools upon subscription, our general policy is that all sales are final and non-refundable. Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle.

1. No Refunds on Subscriptions

We do not offer refunds, prorated refunds, or credits for any cancelled subscriptions or unused time. When you subscribe to a monthly or yearly plan, you are billed in advance for that billing cycle.

2. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time using the "Manage Subscription" link at the bottom of the Paddle receipt email you received when you subscribed. Once cancelled, you will not be billed again, and you will retain full access to your plan's features until the end of your current paid billing period.

3. Exceptions

Refunds may only be considered in the following rare circumstances, at our (and Paddle's) sole discretion:

• Billing Errors: If you were incorrectly charged multiple times for the same transaction.
• Technical Failures: If a major technical fault on our platform prevents you from using the service entirely, and our support team is unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.
